H.S. VOLLEYBALL | Sacred Heart Named High School Team of the Week

11/09/2016 07:01 PM

The Sacred Heart volleyball team is our “High School Team of the Week,” after winning the 2016 KHSAA volleyball state championship this past Sunday.

The Valkyries (40-4) topped Henry Clay in four sets to claim the title.

It’s the first championship in volleyball for Sacred Heart since 2003, and is the second title for the program.

The school held a pep rally on Monday afternoon to honor this year’s team.
