H.S. SOFTBALL | Young Star Finding Success at Male

04/24/2017 08:10 AM

Male High School’s softball team is currently ranked in the “Top 10” in the state of Kentucky.

A lot of the team’s success is due to the play of freshman Jaelyn Sanders.

Sanders is one of Male’s most important pitchers. But, she’s much more than that.

Sanders is also a solid hitter. In fact, as of Friday, she was hitting over .460 on the season, which is the highest average on the team.

“She’s really bought in to being the best that she can be,” said Male head coach Josh Bloomer.
