H.S. FOOTBALL | Trinity Looking for Repeat Performance in 2017

08/01/2017 11:45 AM

The Trinity Shamrocks practiced in pads for the first time this “fall” on Tuesday morning.

The Rocks are hoping for another successful football season, similar to the one they had last year.

Trinity won the 2016 KHSAA 6A State Championship by beating Lafayette 56-21 in the title game.

This year’s team has plenty of talent, including wide receiver Rondale Moore and defensive end Stephen Herron. Moore committed to Texas back in June, while Herron committed to Michigan this past weekend.

The Shamrocks open up the regular season at home against Carmel (IN) on Friday, August 18. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at Marshall Stadium.
