HS FOOTBALL | Teams with the toughest road to the title

11/06/2015 06:30 AM

The high school football post season has arrived. Teams all across the state are preparing for a playoff push, so that they might end up in a championship game in Bowling Green.

But with dozens of teams per division all fighting for their respective crowns, the reality is most will fall well short of a title game. Some teams have a tougher road than others though. Male and Trinity are ranked one and two in the state in 6A, but since they are in the same region, they will face off well before the championship game.

Louisville’s Central High School is looking at a road through 9-1 Boyle County, and 7-3 Lexington Catholic if they pull in a win in their first game. Jason Frakes of the Louisville Courier-journal believes the 3A school has one of the toughest roads to a title in the state.
