HS FOOTBALL | Ryle and Cooper set for Northern Kentucky showdown

10/06/2016 07:00 PM

High school football is quickly nearing the end of the regular season, which makes every game much more important. In Northern Kentucky this Friday night, a slug-fest is brewing between undefeated Ryle high school, and their regional rival, Cooper high who boasts only two losses on the season.

Ryle’s 6-0 run s far this year is definitely by design, but head coach Michael Engler says his team is playing so well by being able to limit the big picture focus, and stay concentrated on the games at hand.

Cooper will definitely be the underdog in this matchup, especially having to play on Ryle’s turf. But they are riding a two game win streak, and are well aware of the coming challenge of playing the Raiders.
