H.S. FOOTBALL | Kickoff Kentucky Featuring Elizabethtown

08/10/2017 06:58 AM

The Elizabethtown Panthers are getting excited to begin the 2017 regular season, despite having a tough opening stretch of games.

The 3A Panthers begin the season on Friday, August 18 against Franklin-Simpson.

Then, two weeks later, on September 1, E-Town takes on 6A North Hardin.

One week after that match-up, on September 8, the Panthers face 2016 KHSAA 2A State Champion Christian Academy of Louisville.

“Those first games like that will prepare us for our district, and playoffs and everything else,” said head coach Mark Brown.

Last year, the Panthers advanced to the 3A State Semifinal Round of the KHSAA Playoffs, where it fell to eventual state champion Central.
