H.S. FOOTBALL | Kickoff Kentucky Featuring DuPont Manual

08/07/2017 12:41 PM

In their first season under Coach Scott Carmony, the DuPont Manual Crimsons finished with a 9-3 record, going 6-3 in the region, but just 2-3 in district play. They eventually fell to St. X in the second round of the playoffs.

Carmony admits that this season, his team doesn’t have a large veteran presence, which can make things complicated for both depth and leadership, but says the young guys leave them “energized”. Despite that, the players say they feel confident.

Manual opens the season against Louisville Central at home. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. eastern on August 18. The Crimsons will scrimmage Tates Creek on August 11 in Lexington in hopes of getting a better feel for the team.
