The Central Hardin Bruins are hoping for more success this year, especially in the postseason.

“I hope they’re (players) motivated to make our season go further into the playoffs this year,” said head coach Tim Mattingly.

The Bruins advanced to the second round of the KHSAA 6A playoffs last year, where it fell to Ballard in overtime.

“I hope that motivates our players and our coaching staff to prepare our players to not have that happen to us again,” said Mattingly.

Central Hardin opens the regular season on Saturday, August 19 at Western Kentucky University, where the Bruins will take on Northeast High School out of Clarksville, Tn.
