H.S. FOOTBALL | Kickoff Kentucky featuring Boyle County

08/17/2017 05:00 PM

In 2016, the Boyle County Rebels finished with a 7-5 record, making a first-round playoff exit, losing to the eventual 3-A State Champion in Louisville Central. The Rebels went 3-2 in the region and 2-1 in the district.

For a coach with five state titles to his name, Chuck Smith and his players are itching for another one. With Division-One talent on the roster such as Purdue commit Will Brammel, the Rebels have a hopeful outlook for the 2017 season.

Boyle County kicks off against John Hardin at Mercer County as part of the Little Caesars Ft. Harrod Bowl at 5:00 p.m. eastern.
