H.S. FOOTBALL | KCD Using New, Safer Helmets Next Season

The high school football season is months away, but programs are already getting work done to prepare for the 2018 campaign.

That includes the Kentucky Country Day football program.

KCD is coming off a successful season, making it to the KHSAA 1A quarterfinal round of the state tournament. The Bearcats finished with an overall record of 11-2.

Head coach Matthew Jones joined Sports Night on Wednesday to discuss the program’s upcoming season and its decision to use the VICIS ZERO1 helmet in 2018. The helmet is reportedly a safer option for student-athletes compared to other helmets:
