H.S. FOOTBALL | Henderson's Patterson Leading The Colonels

10/27/2017 04:03 PM

In the final week of the regular season, the Henderson County Colonels are heading to Owensboro to take on the Red Devils at 7:00 central.

Led by dynamic junior quarterback Skip Patterson, the Henderson County Colonels are hoping to get to .500, they’re currently sitting on a 4-5 record and are 3-1 in both the region and district.

In their last game on October 13 against Daviess County, Patterson was 10/13 passing with no interceptions and rushed for five touchdowns in the Colonels 34-27 win.

Patterson’s run game has been a staple for the Henderson County offense in his last three years as a starter, but the surprising part is that coming in to high school, playing quarterback didn’t even cross his mind.
