H.S. FOOTBALL | Goodwin Continuing to Collect Offers from Colleges

Fourteen-year-old football player Kiyaunta Goodwin continues to make a big impression with college football, despite not having played a down high school football yet.

Goodwin, who is getting ready for his first year of high school at Holy Cross (Louisville), recently received offers from programs like Alabama and Florida St.

Previously, Goodwin had received multiple other offers, including from Louisville and Kentucky.

Spectrum News’ Gary Fogle caught up with Goodwin as he gets ready for his freshman year of high school football:

Andrew Chernoff

Andrew is a sports anchor and sports managing editor for Spectrum News. He covers sports all across the state of Kentucky for Sports Night, which airs weeknights at 6:30 and 10:30 on Spectrum News. When he’s not on the air or in the field covering sports, you can likely find Andrew playing golf, watching IndyCar and Formula 1 races, or exploring the state of Kentucky. His favorite sport is open-wheel racing. In fact, he has not missed an Indianapolis 500 since the early 2000s.
