HS FOOTBALL | Dante Hendrix leads Cooper Jaguars in senior season

09/18/2016 02:00 PM

The Cooper High School football program has only been around for nine years, but one of their players is making his mark early. Senior Dante Hendrix plays both ways for the Jaguars as their top wide receiver and star defensive back. He holds the school record for interceptions with seven, and also accepted the first Division I college scholarship offer in school history.

After dropping their season opener to Highlands, Cooper went on a three-game win streak leading into this weekend’s match-up with Northern Kentucky power, Simon Kenton.
