HS FOOTBALL | Bowling Green's Jamale Carothers wins "Mr. Football"

After a senior season that ended with a 5A State Title, Bowling Green running back Jamale Carothers was named the Associated Press’ Kentucky “Mr. Football.”

Carothers rushed for more than 1,400 yards and had 27 rushing touchdowns this season. He also added nearly 900 receiving yards to his stats, along with 11 receiving touchdowns.

He will continue his college career at Navy in the fall.
