H.S. FOOTBALL | Beechwood Looking for Repeat Performance in 2017

08/16/2017 06:26 PM

Last season was a year that the Beechwood football program will always remember.

That is because the Tigers won the 2016 KHSAA Class A State Championship Game, beating Hazard to claim the title.

But, it did not take long for the 2017 Tigers to stop talking about that 2016 championship.

“The first day in the weight room,” said head coach Noel Rash. “Our kids understand that all that means is teams are going to come at you even harder.”

Beechwood opens up the 2017 regular season at Lloyd on Friday, August 25.
