11/15/2017 04:49 PM

Last week, Assumption High School revealed that varsity field hockey head coach Debbie Judd was stepping down as head coach.

Judd, who coached the Rockets’ field hockey program for roughly 30 years, led her team to a lot of success. During her time as Assumption head coach, she led the Rockets to over 550 wins, along with 10 state championships.

During her conversation with Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff on Wednesday, Judd also talked about what her players have meant to her over the years:

Judd plans on still teaching though at Assumption, despite having stepped down as varsity field hockey’s head coach.
