H.S. BOYS BASKETBALL | Franklin-Simpson Energized by Play of Senior Guard

The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats are this week’s Sports Night “High School Team of the Week.”

The Wildcats won two games last week, thanks to their victories over both Russellville and University Heights.

With the two wins, Franklin-Simpson enters the final four regular season games of the season with a perfect district record.

A lot of the Wildcats’ success can be credited to the play of senior guard Tavin Lovan.

Lovan is considered by many to be a contender for Mr. Basketball. Lovan is averaging 25.6 points per game and 9.1 rebounds per game:
