H.S. BOYS BASKETBALL | Former UofL Player Leading Doss To Success

12/21/2016 10:24 AM

Former UofL basketball player Tony Williams is finding plenty of success as Doss head boys basketball coach.

This year is Williams’ third season leading his alma mater’s basketball program.

“Having an opportunity to come back as a coach after leaving the city, experiencing the world, is an amazing opportunity, “ said Williams.

One of the neat things for the players who Williams coaches is that their head coach has his jersey hanging on the wall in Doss’ gym.

“It actually helps me look up to him,” said guard Stephon Franklin.

Doss has made it to the State Tournament the last two seasons.
