H.S. BOYS BASKETBALL | Dixie Heights Players Hoping to Send Coach Out With Great Season

12/16/2016 06:40 PM

Dixie Heights boys basketball head coach Ken Chevalier told his team at the start of the season that this year would be his last.

“It’s going to be a new adventure for me to not be around basketball,” said Chevalier.

After being involved in the Dixie Heights’ program for nearly two decades, Chevalier will retire.

“I was shocked, but inspired to play better for him and play hard for his last season,” said center Reed Bradfield.

The news may have made the team even more focused this season, as it has started the year with a 5-1 record.
