H.S. BASKETBALL | Jake Ohmer Has Memorable Month of March

04/02/2017 03:20 PM

Scott High School guard Jake Ohmer had a huge month of March.

He helped lead his team to the KHSAA Sweet 16 State Semifinals after scoring 106 points for the Eagles in three Sweet 16 tournament games.

“You really are just numb to how he’s doing it because it’s so easy and natural,” said Scott head coach Steve Fromeyer. “You don’t even realize it’s happening.”

The memorable performances did more for Ohmer though than just impressing his head coach.

By the end of the Sweet 16, he had committed to play college basketball at Western Kentucky.
