HS BASKETBALL | DG Sherrill reflects on time as Bowling Green AD and Basketball Coach

07/06/2017 04:48 PM

DG Sherrill spent nearly a dozen season as the coach of Bowling green High School Boy’s Basketball, and compiled just shy of 300 wins along the way.

After leading his team to a state championship earlier this year, Sherrill decided to hang up the clipboard and accepted the Director of Pupil Personnel position for Bowling Green Independent Schools.

Not many coaches get to leave their respective sport on a win, but Sherrill did just that, and he told Sports Night reporter Lyndsey Gough that it was definitely the right time to move on.
