11/18/2016 06:56 PM

Covington Catholic high school basketball player Cole VonHandorf is getting closer and closer to breaking his school’s all-time scoring record.

With 1,644 points in his career, he currently ranks third on the program’s all-time list, roughly only 300 points behind the leader, Nick Ruthsatz.

Last week, VonHandorf signed his national letter of intent to continue his playing career at Fairmont State (WV) next season.
