HS BASKETBALL | Closer look at Mr. and Miss Basketball front-runners

The high school basketball season is coming to close quickly. District tournaments are wrapping up, setting the stage for the regionals, and ultimately the sweet sixteen.

With the end of the season, comes annual accolades and one specific award to the state’s top players is the honor of “Mr. Basketball” and “Miss Basketball.” We spoke with bluegrasspreps.com reporter Jason Alexander to find out more about the current front-runners, and how wide open the field is for state title contenders.

Garrett Moore

Garrett is a Sports Producer for Spectrum News. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State and got his start as a sports photographer. He now produces Sports Night, the state’s only nightly show dedicated to in-depth coverage of all sports in Kentucky.
