HS BASEBALL | PRP is Sports Night's Team of the Week

06/21/2017 05:03 PM

Public schools have been on summer break for a couple weeks now, but it was just this past weekend that a baseball state champion was crowned.

Pleasure Ridge Park out of Louisville won its fifth title in program history, and this one was perhaps the most dramatic of them all. The team survived late game rallies in the semifinal round against McCracken County, and then again in the title game against Simon Kenton. PRP head coach Bill Miller is the winningest coach in Kentucky high school history, but this one might be one the sweetest wins of all.
