HORSE RACING | Previewing the Preakness Stakes

05/19/2017 12:09 PM

The 142nd Running of the Preakness Stakes takes place Saturday at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Md.

Ten thoroughbreds are taking part in the race this year.

Of course, most of the eyes will be on Kentucky Derby 143 winner Always Dreaming. The Todd Pletcher-trained horse drew post position four earlier this week.

Always Dreaming is the morning line favorite with 4/5 odds.

Meanwhile, Classic Empire has the second-best odds at 3/1.

TVG Network horse racing analyst Caton Bredar joined Sports Night on Friday. She spoke with Andrew Chernoff about what to expect during Saturday’s race:

Post time Saturday is expected to be around 6:45 p.m. ET.
