The University of Louisville has used up their spring allotment of football practices and closed the season with a high scoring scrimmage over the weekend. The spring game is always a big opportunity for former Cardinals to check out the latest crop to represent their school, and this year was no different. We caught up with Harry Douglas and Breno Giacomini to get their thoughts on the latest Cardinals.

Harry Douglas is currently entering his second season with the Tennessee Titans. He played wide receiver for U of L from 2003 – 2008, which fell under the first stint of Bobby Petrino’s head coaching career at U of L. He spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons.

Breno Giacomini is also a former Petrino player, and after a standout senior season, was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2008. He was later traded to the Seattle Seahawks, where he won one Super Bowl before being traded to the Jets. He is expected to fight to remain his position as the starting offensive tackle for New York.
