Georgetown's Kody Kasey will not let an amputation keep him off the field

Georgetown Defensive back Kody Kasey broke his leg two years ago in a football game. He had surgery, but something went terribly wrong. The bone beneath his right knee would not grow back. Infection set in, and eventually last November, Kody was forced to have the lower part of his right leg amputated.
He was fitted with a prosthetic in January. Rather than being upset, or feeling sorry for himself, the Columbus, Ohio native decided to use this incident as a motivational tool for himself, and his Georgetown College Teammates. Kasey has said he will play football again, perhaps as soon as this fall. Here is how Kody is affecting those around him.
