Who says you cannot go home again. Former UofL shooting guard and Atlanta native Kevin Ware will be putting that theory to the test as he will be finishing his college career at Georgia State.

Ware was granted a medical redshirt for this past season after appearing in only 9 games before re-injuring his leg. Ware originally broke his leg during the Cardinals 2013 NCAA Tournament Title run against Duke in the Elite 8.

Georgia State returns three starters from a team that ran off 17 straight Sun Belt Conference wins before losing in the conference tournament championship. The Panthers went on to compete in the NIT before losing to Clemson in the opening round.

Ware will join a team chock-full of transfers including, most notably, former UK point guard Ryan Harrow. Harrow was second on the team in scoring and assists averaging 17.8 points and 4.2 assists per game. Georgia State also got considerable contributions from former Virginia Tech transfer Manny Atkins as well as USC transfer Curtis Washington.
