The Tennessee Titans took on the Minnesota Vikings last night in their final preseason game of 2015. Both NFL teams are now home to former University of Louisville Cardinals who say they still take time to keep up with the Alma mater.
Harry Douglas played wide receiver at UofL from 2003 – 2007, and spent most of that time under the tutelage of Bobby Petrino. As a product of the Petrino system, he knows how much fun it is, and how effectively it develops young talent. He also says he loves seeing how much the program has grown.
Douglas told cn2 Sports he will be in attendance at the game in Atlanta, which is in an arena he grew very familiar with in his time as an Atlanta Falcon.
Another player on the field last night who will be keeping an eye on the Cardinals, is Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The star of the 2013 UofL Sugar Bowl victory over florida, has a special place in his heart for Louisville and said he appreciates all the love he has received his entire career. Teddy said he will be cheering on the cards this weekend and that games like the one against Auburn are a testament to the success of the Louisville football program.
After their game, The two players exchanged jerseys in a true showing of Louisville First, Cards Forever.
