FCC ends LouCity FC's 17-game unbeaten streak

With a 2-0 win at Nippert Stadium, FC Cincinnati brought an end to Louisville City FC’s 17-game unbeaten streak. The win also means Cincinnati is the winner of the rivalry season-series. Both teams went 1-1-1 in the series, but Cincinnati won by outscoring LouCity 4-3. FC Cincinnati is now 11-4-4, while LouCity fell to 12-2-6.

Cincinnati midfielder Andrew Wiedeman scored his fourth goal of the season just before halftime in the 39th minute. In the second half, FCC’s leading scorer Sean Okoli put the club up 2-0. It was Okoli’s ninth goal of the season.
