06/28/2017 10:00 AM

FC Cincinnati is preparing for a mid-week battle against the MLS’ Chicago Fire on Wednesday night.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET inside Nippert Stadium.

The match is part of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament. The winner will move on to the “Round of Eight.”

FCC beat the MLS’ Columbus Crew SC 1-0 on June 14 to get to this point in the U.S. Open Cup tournament.

Sports Night’s Andrew Chernoff caught up FCC midfielder Aodhan Quinn via Skype to talk about Wednesday night’s match-up:

Wednesday’s match will air nationally on ESPN.

The organization has also opened up the general admission overflow in the upperdeck of the stadium.
