FC CINCINNATI | Orange and Blue Ready to Take on Another MLS Club

06/27/2017 07:30 PM

FC Cincinnati is preparing for a mid-week battle against the MLS’ Chicago Fire on Wednesday night.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET inside Nippert Stadium.

The match is part of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament. The winner will move on to the “Round of Eight.”

FCC beat the MLS’ Columbus Crew SC 1-0 on June 14 to get to this point in the U.S. Open Cup tournament.

Spectrum News’ Kaci Kust has more on why the players are not necessarily considering themselves underdogs heading into the match-up:

Andrew Chernoff
