FC CINCINNATI | New Look at Nippert Stadium

04/14/2017 08:00 PM

Nippert Stadium will be a very busy stadium this weekend.

On Friday, it hosts the University of Cincinnati football spring game.

Then, on Saturday, it hosts the home opener for FC Cincinnati, when the Orange and Blue hosts Saint Louis FC at 7 p.m. ET.

Fans at both events will likely notice some changes to the stadium, as Nippert recently underwent at $2 million renovation project.

The renovation project made the field wider in order to fit FIFA regulations.

Spectrum News’ Kaci Kust caught up with both UC and FCC to see what the changes mean to both the school and the soccer club.
