FC CINCINNATI | Growing as a group defensively

FC Cincinnati will attempt to extend their USL unbeaten streak to 11 games this weekend, when they host Bethlehem Steel FC. A big reason for the success in their inaugural season, is a growing ability to play as a cohesive unit, especially on defense.

FCC picked up a road win at Bethlehem early in the season. When we had goalkeeper Mitch Hildebrandt on the show, he said the back line has only gotten better since then. The most recent evidence of that improvement was holding USL Eastern Conference leaders Louisville City FC scoreless in their draw last Saturday. We asked Mitch about that game, the upcoming one against Bethlehem, and the popular chant from the FCC fans that keeps him pumped up during home games.
