FC CINCINNATI | FCC Gets One Trophy, Looking For Another

09/29/2016 07:03 PM

FC Cincinnati is getting ready for its first ever playoff game.

The team hosts the Charleston Battery in an Eastern Conference first-round match-up Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET inside Nippert Stadium.

FCC already has one trophy locked up even before the playoffs begin.

FCC’s Sean Okoli was awarded the USL Golden Boot award earlier this week. The award is given to the player with the most goals during the USL regular season.

Okoli played in 29 games this regular season, scoring 16 goals.

He spoke with Andrew Chernoff via Skype on cn|2 Sports Thursday night. They talked about Okoli’s recent honor and about the team’s upcoming playoff quest.
