FC Cincinnati | Fans can support Harvey relief efforts on Saturday

FC Cincinnati fans will be able to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts by attending the team’s Saturday match against the Pittsburgh Hounds.

Financial donations will be accepted at the gate via cash or credit card.

FCC midfielder Corben Bone is a Texas native and says he is deeply saddened by the effects of Harvey and the devastation left behind by the storm.

“Anytime the country is struck like that, anything you can give to help those in need, it goes a long, long way,” said Bone. “People are seeking refuge everywhere, so anything we can do to help those people in need — this Saturday, there’s an opportunity.”

FCC returns to action this weekend after a well-deserved 10-day rest period since beating Ottawa on August 23. The match against Pittsburgh is one of two regular season home games remaining this year. Kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET at Nippert Stadium.
