EKU TRACK & FIELD | Claitt Named Preseason All-American

01/04/2018 04:21 PM

EKU track and field star Tequan Claitt has been named a Flotrack Preseason All-American in the indoor high jump.

Flotrack has Claitt ranked No. 6 on the men’s high jump list, behind others such as Trey Culver (Texas Tech) and Randall Cunningham (USC).

Last year, Claitt broke a 35-year old Eastern Kentucky record in the high jump with a leap of 7’5.75” at the Hilltopper Relays on April 7. It ended up being the top jump by any NCAA Div. I athlete last season.
