He slipped through the first round of the NFL Draft, but there was no way that was going to happen to Noah Spence again, and it didn’t. The EKU Defensive Lineman/Linebacker was taken by Tampa Bay in the second round with the 39th overall pick.

Spence’s ability has never been questioned. However his past has included drug problems at Ohio State, and so Spence and his team have spent a lot of time proving the 6-foot-2, 251-pounder has put his off the field issues behind him.

Spence dominated at the FCS level, finishing with 22.5 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks and 15 quarterback hurries in 11 games. he goes to a Tampa Bay team that finished 2015 on a four game losing streak, winding up with a record of 6-10.
