Eastern Kentucky (3-4) is getting ready for Wednesday night’s showdown against in-state foe Western Kentucky (3-3).

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET in Richmond’s McBrayer Arena. The two schools’ women’s team will play each other beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET.

The game will mark the first time since 2007 that the WKU Hilltoppers men’s basketball team has played in Richmond.

Wednesday’s clash will be the 157th meeting between EKU and WKU, with WKU leading the series 113-43. In fact, the Toppers have won 13 straight match-ups against the Colonels.

Last season, WKU won on a last-second three-pointer by Justin Johnson, giving the Toppers an 86-84 victory over the Colonels.
