EKU MEN'S BASKETBALL | Colonels Gearing Up for Tennessee St.

01/10/2017 07:30 PM

The EKU Colonels (8-10, 1-2) are hoping to bounce back on the winning track Thursday night against Tennessee St. (11-5, 2-1).

Tip-off between the two Ohio Valley Conference programs is at 7 p.m. ET inside McBrayer Arena.

The Colonels are coming off a 74-60 loss to Eastern Illinois on Saturday.

The good news for the Colonels though is that EKU has won five of its last six games vs. Tennessee St.

A lot of the focus for the visitors Thursday will be on EKU’s Asante Gist. Gist was named OVC Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this season on Monday.

Gist averaged 22.5 ppg and 4.5 apg last week.
