EKU FOOTBALL | Voice of the Colonels' Streak Ending on Saturday

11/18/2016 07:20 PM

Greg Stotelmyer, the “Voice of the Colonels,” called his 351st consecutive EKU football game last week against Austin Peay.

This week, the streak comes to an end.

Stotelmyer will not call this week’s EKU football game against Eastern Illinois due to a conflict with the men’s basketball team’s schedule.

“You have to have a whole lot of luck to see 351 games in a row,” said Stotelmyer.

This week, he will be calling Saturday’s men’s basketball game in Lubbock, TX, where EKU will face Texas Tech. Then, Stotelmyer will be off to Mexico for EKU’s next two games in the Cancun Challenge.
