EKU FOOTBALL | Tim Boyle Named Starting Quarterback

08/23/2017 12:21 PM

EKU head coach Mark Elder has named Tim Boyle as the Colonels’ starting quarterback.

“The offense is extremely exciting,” said Boyle. “I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Elder cited Boyle’s consistency in camp as a reason he named Boyle as the starting quarterback.

Boyle transferred to EKU prior to the 2016 season. Before that, he was a UConn quarterback, seeing action in 25 games during previous three seasons (2013-2015).

EKU opens up its regular season on Saturday, Sept. 2 at WKU.
