EKU FOOTBALL | Maroon Beats White Team, 34-20 in Spring Game

Eastern Kentucky University’s football team wrapped up its 2018 spring practice schedule with the annual Maroon & White Game on Saturday at Roy Kidd Stadium.

Head coach Mark Elder split the team into offense (Maroon) and defense (White) for the scrimmage and used an adjusted point system for the game.

The offense received seven points for a touchdown and three points for a field goal. The defense received seven points for a touchdown, four points for a turnover, seven points for a turnover and touchdown combo, three points for a three-and-out, five points for a safety and two points for a fourth-down stop.

EKU’s first fall football game will be August 30th at home versus Morehead State.
