EKU FOOTBALL | Dean Hood's Colonels regrouping after disappointing loss

The Colonels football team received their first blemish on their conference schedule by getting shut out at Jacksonville State, the number one team in the FBS. EKU lost 34- 0 at the hands of the Gamecocks, but have to quickly forget about the loss in order to prepare for an equally tough Tennessee-Martin team.

UT-Martin and EKU have similar records so far this season. Both teams are 5-3 with losses to two FBS schools and Jacksonville State. The big difference is where EKU failed to score a point on JSU, the Skyhawks put up 41 on the top ranked team, and ultimately only lost by a touchdown.

Head Colonel Dean Hood knows his team needs to forget the loss to JSU, and prepare for a game that could have serious playoff implications.
