EKU FOOTBALL | Colonels still perfect in conference play

Eastern Kentucky Football pulled in its fourth straight OVC victory with a homecoming win over Tennessee State University. The Colonels beat the Tigers to the final score of 45-21.

EKU’s up-tempo pace proved too much for TSU. The Colonels ran 78 plays and racked up almost 550 yards of total offense. Eastern built a 31 point cushion heading into the fourth quarter. They led in every offensive statistical category, and controlled the turnover battle with two interceptions.

The Colonels are now 5-2 on the season, and perfect in the OVC. Their next game is a Halloween showdown at Jacksonville State next Saturday.
