The EKU football team is hitting its stride at the right time.

The Colonels (3-5, 3-3) are currently on a two-game winning streak as they prepare for their final three games of the regular season.

Their next game takes place this Saturday at Eastern Illinois (5-4, 4-2). Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. ET.

EKU head coach Mark Elder joined Sports Night on Tuesday to preview Saturday’s Ohio Valley Conference match-up:

EKU leads the all-time series with Eastern Illinois 13-11, although the Panthers have won the last two meetings between the two teams.
