10/24/2017 06:04 PM

The Eastern Kentucky football team picked up a much-needed victory over UT Martin last weekend. EKU scored 21 points in the third quarter on its way to a 31-21 victory. The Colonels coach also rushed for over 200 yards and four touchdowns against UT Martin.

The victory improved the team’s record to 2-5 overall, and provided a shot of confidence heading into this weekend’s game with Murray State.

Colonels coach Mark Elder joined TJ Beisner today to discuss what went well in the win, and what to expect from the Racers this Saturday.

Kickoff at Murray State is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET.
