10/03/2017 11:24 AM

The EKU football team is hard at work preparing for its next match-up, which takes place Saturday at 6 p.m. ET inside Roy Kidd Stadium.

The Colonels (1-3, 1-1) will host Tennessee St. (3-2, 0-2) in an Ohio Valley Conference battle this weekend.

EKU is coming off a 29-10 loss at Southeast Missouri this past weekend.

Eastern Kentucky head coach Mark Elder joined Andrew Chernoff on Sports Night Tuesday to discuss Saturday’s loss to Southeast Missouri and to preview his team’s upcoming game against Tennessee St.

EKU leads the all-time series over Tennessee St. 23-6, although the Tigers won last year’s meeting 35-28.
