EKU BASKETBALL | Dan McHale still has faith in team despite injuries

02/14/2017 07:00 PM

The Eastern Kentucky Men’s Basketball team had only six players play seven minutes or more in the recent loss to Morehead State, and even at a serious disadvantage when it comes to healthy scholarship options, The Colonels still had a chance to earn a win over one of the OVC’s top teams.

That’s been more-or-less the story for EKU this season. The Colonels have suffered several close losses, and even worse, multiple injuries. But even with four games left in the regular season, and a long shot to make the conference tournament, EKU head coach Dan McHale says he believes entirely in his team and the progress the players have made all season long.
