EKU BASKETBALL | Colonels ready to start 2017 on a high note

01/04/2017 07:15 PM

The final game of 2016 was frustrating to say the least for the Eastern Kentucky men’s basketball team. On New Year’s Eve, the Colonels were held to just 48 points against Southeast Missouri State, losing their final game of the 2016 calendar year. But it’s 2017 now, and EKU’s first game of the new year happens Thursday night, at home against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

EKU head coach Dan McHale joined the show today to talk about the trials his team has faced already this season, and why he thinks it will help them in the heart of OVC play.
